Terms & Conditions

Order Deadline:

We get booked up in advance, so check the top bar of the website to see the next available delivery dates. These are currently on a Thursday / Friday. Please leave a message in the 'DELIVERY DATE' box at checkout if you'd prefer them to arrive further in the future.

Limited space:

We are a very small operation and we have a limit on how many packs of crumpets we can physically make each week, so whilst we will try our best to match your preferred delivery dates, we reserve the right to make amendments to the date you will receive your order. We may have to move you from a Thursday to a Friday slot, but if we are fully booked for the week we may have to move you to the following week. We will let you know if that is the case. We advise ordering as early as possible to avoid disappointment.

Minimum Orders:

Nationwide deliveries are subject to a minimum order of 2 items. Orders within the zones of NR1-7 may order 1 pack.

Best before dates:

Our crumpets are made fresh and are preservative free. They therefore have a short shelf life and if not eaten fresh, should be frozen straight away for up to 2 months. Deliveries arrive on a Thursday or Friday and the best before date will be the following Saturday/ Sunday. We advise storing the crumpets in a cool dry, airtight place, or refrigerating in hot weather.

Allergies:

It is the customer's responsibility to read all of the allergy information provided on the website and the packets and assess the risks before eating / ordering. Whilst we do try to make sure that there is no cross contamination between flavours, all crumpet flavours are made on the same day and in a home kitchen. It is therefore impossible to guarantee that traces of potential allergens are not present in the crumpets. If you have severe allergies to things such as nuts, dairy and mustard, we would suggest seeking a more specialised company. All crumpets contain gluten. Crumpetorium cannot be held responsible for allergic reactions caused by our crumpets.

Likeness to photos:

Crumpets come in all shapes and sizes, and every batch produces a varied range of crumpets, each different from the last. The crumpets you receive in your order may therefore differ slightly in appearance to those in the photos.

Jamii Card holders:

Customers with a valid Jamii membership card may use it to get 15% Off selected products on our website as well as on the Jamii website. The items available for discount include all single packs of crumpets and condiment jars. Excluded from the discount is the 'Whole Crumpet' box and the '6 Packs Mix & Match' box, as these items already have a discount applied to them.

Subscriptions:

Products that are available for monthly subscription will have the option to subscribe on the product page. Subscribed customers will then receive the same order on a monthly basis, starting from when they receive their first order. If subscribed to the 'Mix and Match' option, customers may change their order each month by messaging us. Subscriptions automatically renew each month and can be cancelled anytime. However if the subscription fee has already been paid for that month, it will not be refundable, and we will still send out the final order of crumpets before cancelling the subscription for future months.

Returns Policy:

We really hope you love your orders as much as we loved making them. However, if for any reason you do have any issues, please get in touch within 14 days and we will get back to you as soon as possible with a solution.

We receive, collect and store any information you enter on our website or provide us in any other way. When you conduct a transaction on our website, as part of the process, we collect personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address. Your personal information will be used for the specific reasons stated above only.

We collect such Non-personal and Personal Information for the following purposes: - To provide and operate the Services; - To provide our Users with ongoing customer assistance and technical support; - To be able to contact our Visitors and Users with general or personalized service-related notices and promotional messages; - To create aggregated statistical data and other aggregated and/or inferred Non-personal Information, which we or our business partners may use to provide and improve our respective services; - To comply with any applicable laws and regulations.

Our company is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall.

All direct payment gateways offered by Wix.com and used by our company adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

How might we communicate with you:

We may contact you to notify you regarding your account, to troubleshoot problems with your account, to resolve a dispute, to collect fees or monies owed, to poll your opinions through surveys or questionnaires, to send updates about our company, or as otherwise necessary to contact you to enforce our User Agreement, applicable national laws, and any agreement we may have with you. For these purposes we may contact you via email, telephone, text messages, and postal mail. If you sign up to our newsletter you may opt out at any time by clicking the 'unsubscribe' link or emailing crumpetorium@gmail.com. You may also contact us if you no longer wish us to process your data.

We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website. If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you here that it has been updated, so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we use and/or disclose it.
